The media office at the Elysee Palace announced today, Wednesday, that French President Jacques Chirac will receive Syrian Vice President Abdel Halim Khaddam on Thursday morning. Khaddam, who arrived in France yesterday, Tuesday, for a three-day visit, will deliver a message from Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to Chirac.
