Damascus – KUNA: A Turkish parliamentary delegation, headed by Bülent Çavuşoğlu, Chairman of the Turkish-Syrian Parliamentary Friendship Association, held talks in Damascus yesterday with Syrian Vice President Abdel Halim Khaddam, Syrian Defense Minister General Mustafa Tlass, and Deputy Speaker of the People’s Assembly Nasser Qaddour.
Qaddour emphasized the deep ties between Syria and Turkey and the important role both countries play in maintaining stability in the region.
Çavuşoğlu highlighted the cooperation between the two nations in various fields, expressing the gratitude of the Turkish people and government for this collaboration.
