I call upon the prohibition of engaging with Israel until it complies with international legitimacy,
Mr. President.
The Islamic world is confronted with numerous challenges that threaten the freedom, security, stability, and future of its peoples. Foremost among these challenges is the Israeli aggression against the Arab nation and the expansionist and aggressive policies pursued by Israel. One of the most recent examples of such policies is the Israeli government’s measures to Judaize Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
The United States’ policy of embracing and protecting Israel within international institutions represents an abnormal aspect of international relations that hinders the promotion of peace worldwide. Additionally, the media and material warfare launched against Islam aims to weaken and terrorize Muslims, thereby perpetuating a state of vulnerability that enables the forces of international hegemony and Zionism to pursue expansionist, aggressive, and dominating policies.
Our efforts have been dedicated to establishing a just and comprehensive peace in the region, a position supported by the entire international community. A peace framework based on international legitimacy has been agreed upon. However, the current Israeli government has adopted policies and actions that have disrupted the peace process and cast doubt upon its prospects.
Rejecting the withdrawal from Syrian, Lebanese, and Palestinian territories and refusing to recognize the legitimate rights of the Palestinian Arab people cannot lead to peace and stability in the region and the world.
We seek peace, but a peace that restores land and rights, preserves dignity, and respects sovereignty. Peace built upon concessions alone is a peace of humiliation. No one can guarantee the sustainability of a peace that requires the abandonment of rights and territories, Mr. President.
The Israelis have publicly announced their intention to Judaize Al-Quds Al-Sharif and have already initiated the construction of a new settlement in the Holy City. Such actions blatantly violate Islamic and Christian taboos and raise serious concerns among Muslims worldwide regarding the stance of the Islamic Conference currently underway. Israel persists in implementing its agenda.
The foremost desire of Islamic peoples is to advocate for the prohibition of engagement with Israel until it complies with international legitimacy. The international community is obligated to support the withdrawal from occupied Arab territories, halt actions in Jerusalem, and restore the national rights of the Palestinian people.
Protecting the sanctity of holy sites is a legitimate responsibility for every Muslim and a national duty for every Arab. Reluctance to take decisive positions will only embolden the aggressive Israeli approach and provide encouragement for the continuation of their policies. We must recognize that pleasing God and the people is a duty ordained by faith, regardless of the reactions from any particular party.
We extend our invitation, brothers, to observe the events unfolding within and around the Islamic world, as well as the schemes devised for its future. We must not turn a blind eye to injustice and oppression. Instead, let us examine these circumstances and recognize the imperative for our collective support and cooperation, forming a barrier against injustice and oppression. By doing so, we pave the way for progress, growth, and the pursuit of a life lived in freedom and dignity. In fulfilling these responsibilities, we demonstrate our faithfulness to the obligations and duties prescribed by Islam, and we trust that God will aid His devoted servants who champion His message. May peace be upon you all.
