King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, received His Excellency the former Vice President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Abdel Halim Khaddam, in his office at the Royal Court at the Peace Palace yesterday.

During the reception, the former Vice President offered sincere condolences on behalf of his country for the late King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God have mercy on him.

The King expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the condolences, and he invoked God Almighty to bestow His mercy upon the deceased and grant him eternal rest.

The reception was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation, and Inspector General. Also present were His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the King of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Highness Prince Dr. Bandar bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Saud, Advisor to the King of the Two Holy Mosques.
