Yesterday, Syrian Vice President Abdel Halim Khaddam discussed with a delegation from the Canadian Parliament and Senate the tense situation in the region due to the continued Israeli occupation of Arab lands, the brutal aggression against the Palestinian people, and the rejection of recent Security Council resolutions regarding the investigation into the crimes of the occupation in the Jenin camp and the obstruction of the peace process.
