Beijing - AFP - Chinese President Jiang Zemin announced yesterday during his meeting with Syrian Vice President Abdel Halim Khaddam that his country will continue to “support the just cause of the Arab people and work for peace in the Middle East.” Jiang affirmed his country’s support for the Syrian demands to restore the entire occupied Golan Heights.
