Foreign Minister Abdel Halim Khaddam of Syria arrived here today for talks aimed at reconciling Christian-Moslem differences within the Cabinet of Lebanon’s Prime Minister, Rashid Karami.

The meeting took place at President Amin Gemayel’s summer home in the Christian mountain resort of Bikfaya.

Mr. Khaddam met first with Mr. Gemayel and Mr. Karami, and later with Mohammed Beydoun, representing Nabih Berri, the Shiite leader, who is hospitalized, and with Walid Jumblat, the Druse leader.

In the evening, Mr. Khaddam saw two Christian leaders – Pierre Gemayel, father of the President, and Camille Chamoun. Then he met again with the President and Mr. Karami.
