Vice President Abdel Halim Khaddam received Dr. Abdulkarim Al-Eryani, the Secretary General of the General People’s Congress in the Republic of Yemen, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting focused on the Arab situation and emphasized the urgent need for Arab solidarity to confront significant threats facing the Arab nation, particularly the Israeli threat and foreign domination. The discussion also highlighted the historical brotherly relations between Syria and Yemen, emphasizing the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two parties and their respective governments.
