Mr. President,

The Islamic world is currently facing numerous challenges that pose a threat to the freedom, security, stability, and future of its people. Chief among these challenges is the Israeli aggression against the Arab nation, along with Israel’s expansionist and aggressive policies. The most recent example of this is the Israeli government’s actions aimed at the Judaization of Al-Quds Al-Sharif.

The United States’ policy of supporting and protecting Israel in international institutions stands out as an abnormal manifestation in international relations. This policy does not contribute to the promotion of peace worldwide.

Additionally, there has been a media and material war launched against Islam, which aims to weaken and intimidate Muslims, keeping them in a state of vulnerability. This state of weakness only serves the interests of international hegemony and Zionism, allowing them to pursue policies of expansion, aggression, and dominance.

Our efforts have been focused on establishing a just and comprehensive peace in the region, an approach supported by the international community. Agreements have been reached on the terms of reference for peace, based on international legitimacy. However, the current Israeli government’s policies and measures have hindered the progress of the peace process, casting doubt on its viability.

By rejecting the withdrawal from Syrian, Lebanese, and Palestinian territories and refusing to acknowledge the legitimate rights of the Palestinian Arab people, the path towards peace and stability in the region and the world is obstructed.

We desire peace, but a peace that encompasses the restoration of land and rights, upholds dignity, and respects sovereignty. This is the genuine peace we seek. Peace achieved through concessions leads to humiliation. It is impossible to guarantee the sustainability of a peace that comes at the expense of relinquishing rights and surrendering land.

Mr. President,

The Israelis have publicly declared their intention to pursue the Judaization of Al-Quds Al-Sharif and have already commenced the construction of a new settlement in this sacred city. Such actions not only violate Islamic and Christian sensitivities but also raise serious concerns among Muslims worldwide regarding the stance of the ongoing Islamic Conference, while Israel continues to carry out its provocative measures.

The primary aspiration of Islamic nations is to impose a ban on any engagement with Israel until it adheres to international legitimacy, commits to withdrawing from the occupied Arab territories, and ceases its activities in Jerusalem. Only by doing so can Israel restore the national rights of the Palestinian people.

The protection of holy sites represents a legitimate responsibility for every Muslim, just as it constitutes a national obligation for every Arab. Failing to take decisive positions would only serve to bolster Israel’s aggressive approach and encourage the Israeli government to persist in its policies.

We must acknowledge that pleasing both God and humanity is a duty derived from our faith, irrespective of the reactions from any particular party.

Brothers, we urge you to observe the events unfolding within and around the Islamic world, as well as the schemes devised against it. We should not be oblivious or indifferent. We should not turn a blind eye to injustice and oppression. Let us observe and comprehend the imperative for our unity and cooperation, serving as a barrier against injustice and oppression and forging pathways towards progress, growth, and a life of freedom and dignity. In doing so, we remain faithful to the obligations and responsibilities bestowed upon us by Islam, and God shall support those who uphold His message.

Peace be upon you.
