Former Syrian vice-president, Abed al-Halim Khaddam launched a violent attack on Syrian president Bachar al-Assad regime and said that the new Syrian Army that will be established after Assad ousting will probably enter Lebanon to oust Hezbollah. He also alerted Arab states from Iran’s power getting into those states if Damascus won.
“Few days ago, an agreement was made between the U.S.A and Russia to hold a conference in Geneva for Syria and reach a negotiated solution for the bloody crisis”, said Khaddam In a video tape of 22min. Unfortunately, both states did not think that any dialogue between two forces will be taken up by the strongest. Bashar al-Assad has all killing and destruction means. However, Syrian people have faith in God and the will for liberation.
Khaddam downplayed the fair representation by the Syrian National Coalition. “The coalition has no power to negotiate in the name of Syrian people. The only legitimate part is a national global conference based on the Syrian Interior”, he added.
“This will take longtime then a new stage will begin loaded with possibilities”, he stated. “Al-Assad ousting does not mean the abolition of the regime. Bashar is the head of the regime while the regime is an institution founded by Hafez al-Assad since the seventies and was considered an alternative of the state and replaced the constitutional establishments”, Khaddem said.
Khaddam considered that the conflict is not with the Syrian people and Bashar al-Assad alone but among the Syrian people, Bashar al-Assad and the regime founded by Hafez al-Assad. After Hariri assassination, according to Khaddam, Bashar had no way to protect himself and his regime but to take refugee within Iran’s hands which brought Hezbollah to be used anytime and anywhere.
“Hezbollah did not underestimated the risk of entering the Syrian territories and killing Syrians”, said the formal Syrian Official. “However, the regime will fall and the new Syrian regime will enter Lebanon to oust Hezbollah”, he added.  “The blood of Syrians is not cheap and Hezbollah will pay the price once the Syrian people will become united”, Khaddam said.
