The President of the Republic met with the Vice President of Syria

His Excellency President Ali Abdullah Saleh, the President of the Republic, met today at his residence in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur on the sidelines of the thirteenth summit of non-aligned countries, with His Excellency Abdul Halim Khaddam, the Vice President of the Arab Republic of Syria.

During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance and develop them, in addition to the developments in the region, the situation in Iraq, and the upcoming Arab Summit in Cairo.
