Yesterday, Syrian Vice President Abdel Halim Khaddam received Wadih Al-Khazen, who offered him his condolences for the death of his brother, which was an opportunity to discuss the latest developments and concerns of Syria and Lebanon.
Khaddam praised, according to Al-Khazen, the solidarity achieved between the pillars of the government in Lebanon and the efforts made by Prime Minister Rafik Hariri with the support and approval of Presidents Assad, Lahoud, Chirac and the rest of the parties participating in the the Paris 2 conference to ensure its chances of success with the aim of enabling Lebanon to reduce its budget deficit and the growth of its economy
