Dear citizens, our country is exposed to the dangers of a major calamity. The regime has played a significant role in everything that Syrians are exposed to. Your unity and solidarity are key factors in achieving security and stability.
Arab and international voices are rising to achieve a political solution to the bloody crisis in Syria. While we welcome political solutions, no country has put forward the nature, elements, and parties of the political solution. Will a political solution that leads to the formation of a government made up of representatives of the regime and representatives of some opposition parties lead to stability and the return of security and peace to Syria? Is the goal to form a government between the parties to the conflict without specifying its objectives and how to address the situation in Syria? Did those who spoke about the transitional government take into account the current situation in Syria, including divisions, conflicts, various organizations, and large quantities of weapons? Is there a government capable of imposing its control, achieving security and stability in the country, and confronting armed groups or political formations?
In cases involving war crimes and political crimes, a political solution is not valid. With a deadly regime that killed hundreds of thousands of Syrian people, abandoned millions, destroyed the national economy, and imprisoned hundreds of thousands, there is no political solution. There are many examples when Russians invaded Crimea, and Western countries did not agree to a political solution with the Russians but imposed sanctions on them at the beginning of World War II. The West did not negotiate with the Nazi regime, and the Nazis were tried in international war crimes courts.
Dear fellow citizens, I honestly and bravely tell you that the major problem will not be solved, differences will increase, and an Arab country or a major country will not be able to solve it. In my opinion, the solution is to form an Arab and international military force determined by the Security Council, to be joined by a senior and experienced officer from the Free Army appointed by the military council to enter Syria, impose security, withdraw weapons, advance the course of action and cohesion among Syrians, and reshape the armed forces and security services.
In such an atmosphere, Syrians will regain their calm nature, and all kinds of sectarian, political, and ethnic differences will fall. The Syrian people will return united with enthusiasm and enthusiasm. Syria will return to be a beacon of freedom, justice, and equality, and will regain its role in the Arab and international arenas.
