To our patient and struggling Syrian people, in order to ensure the unity of the land and people of Syria, the continuation of the peaceful revolution, and the mobilization of all living forces of the people who are working to overthrow the barbaric Asadi junta and its supporters, establish the foundations of freedom and democracy, and start building a state of law and social justice, we express our firm and unwavering belief in the victory of our giant revolution. Each day, our revolution adds bright pages to human history as we strive to secure the Syrian people’s right to freedom, honor, and a decent living, just like other peoples in the free world. Furthermore, we aim to contribute effectively to the development of human civilization. A group of Syrian patriots is calling for the formation of the National Organization to Support the Syrian Revolution, which will be a helpful, friendly, and integral part of your leading revolution and a sincere voice that reflects your aspirations to overthrow the empire of slavery, tyranny, and the brutal Asadi repression machine.

O steadfast and proud Syrian people, in its charter, the National Commission has established the fundamental goals for the victory of the revolution and the attainment of its noble objectives of freedom and dignity. The most important of these goals are as follows:

  • Working diligently and honestly to unify the directions and visions of all actors in the revolution, including political opposition groups, with the aim of restoring our national unity and becoming one voice to defend our glorious revolution, overthrow the Asadi junta, and build a democratic civil state based on citizenship for all Syrians.
  • Supporting our people’s revolution with all possible and available means to achieve the choices they make in overthrowing the Asadi junta and its repressive institutions.
  • Supporting our military comrades who have broken the chains of obedience against the Asadi junta and joined the popular revolution, and encouraging the honorable members of our valiant army to take a stance alongside their people.
  • Taking all necessary measures to protect our defenseless people and seeking protection and assistance from international forums, especially the Security Council, to enable them to achieve their aspirations and goals of freedom and dignity.

Great Syrian people, the National Commission views the recent decision of the Arab League Council of Ministers as an important and progressive step in isolating the Asadi junta at the Arab level. Although it is an important measure to halt the bloodshed, it is not sufficient to support our peaceful and glorious revolution. We call upon them to make bolder and more decisive decisions to militarily protect our unarmed people or to refer the Syrian file to the Security Council for the protection of the Syrian people in accordance with the United Nations Charter, which mandates its members to protect peoples with all their capabilities, rather than protecting fascist and barbaric authorities. We also urge the Security Council to transfer the Syrian case to the International Criminal Court for the trial of the tyrant Bashar Al-Assad and his associates for collective crimes amounting to crimes against humanity committed against our people.

The Commission calls upon all political spectrum, revolutionary actors, and independent national figures supporting the revolution to adopt the language of reason, rise above personal, party, or sectarian differences, and work towards unity and national solidarity to achieve our ultimate goal: the liberation of our people, the rescue of our country from the grip of crime, murder, and barbarism. Let us demonstrate to the world that we are a unified bloc worthy of representing our resilient people in their pursuit of freedom, dignity, and the establishment of a democratic civil state for all Syrians.

Long live the rebellious Syrian people, and long live a free Syria.
